"If you've ever traveled to South America and particularly Argentina you'll see yerba being drunk by nearly everyone. Literally. Our yerba tastes a little like a smokey green tea."

how does it taste?

A bit like a smoky green tea. Could this be the new Lapsang Souchong?

good if you're feeling

Open-minded and willing to take a risk. This is an Amazonian secret energy brew - it may smell like creosote, but it works like magic.

how we like it

Smoky - this unique flavour works well with a sprinkle of ginger or cinnamon.

Iced - just cover one tea temple with boiling water and infuse for 3 minutes. Remove temple and fill glass with iced water.

brew time

  • tea temple - 1 per person. Infuse in boiling water. Brew for 3+ minutes.

Whole leaves take longer to brew, but the little wait is definitely worth it.

Yerba maté.
